Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) had commenced developing their Strategic Asset Management Plans, however, they were unable to complete these to be compliant with local government requirements. GenEng were called on to provide assistance with finalising their plans for all infrastructure categories, including:
- Assistance with the compilation of a roles and responsibilities matrix
- Assistance with the Development of a Roadmap / Project Management Plan for Strategic Asset Management processes
- Technical advice to assist with the delivery of Asset Management outcomes
- Technical support to the Infrastructure Department through the development of processes to capture field data to inform the development of annual capital renewal programs and appropriate allocation in Council’s long-term (10 year) Financial Plan.
Due to the location of CHRC’s office, this project was delivered through a mixture of on-site works and remote consultation. The plans were completed within Council’s timeframes.
