Highfields, Queensland | Full-time | Office-based

This role sits within the GenEng design office, working under the day-to-day direction of the Senior Design Engineer and the broader supervision of the company’s RPEQ engineers.

We typically look for:

  • A degree, associate degree or certificate in Civil Engineering which is accepted by Engineers Australia, or significant industry experience.
  • Experience with subdivision design from concept through to off-maintenance
  • Interest in stormwater modelling, hydraulic modelling or traffic analysis
  • Current open “C” Class drivers licence
  • Experience in project management and supervision of civil projects
  • Exposure to Queensland local government design standards and approval processes

This role provides civil works supervision, inspection, and contract administration services across a broad range of GenEng projects, including subdivisions, road and drainage works, and flood restoration programs for regional Queensland councils.

  • Experience in supervision, surveillance, and inspection of civil construction works
  • Experience in contract administration for civil infrastructure
  • An associate degree or certificate in Civil Engineering (or working towards), or substantial industry experience
  • Current open “C” Class drivers licence and Safety Induction White Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Sound consultation and conflict resolution skills
