Who
Local Government
Our experienced professionals have strong backgrounds in Local Government; many of them having worked at all levels for regional councils prior to joining GenEng.
State Government
Our team has extensive experience in a variety of State Government roles and areas within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). We provide engineers and inspectors under IBCP and CFEP arrangements.
Private Developers
We work closely with property developers and private asset owners to help them bring their visions to life. Whether that is a new driveway or a 600-lot subdivision.
ADVISE
We provide services such as civil engineering and legislative advice, asset management, feasibility and strategic studies. These include:
- Drought management and water security management studies and reporting
- Strategic asset management plans and fleet management assistance
- Road safety audits to support Blackspot funding applications, or for road maintenance programs. We also conduct audits for planning, and pre-design of new roads.
- Project cost estimating and control
- Feasibility studies and business continuity planning
- Options analyses
- Residential land development.
Represent
Our experienced staff fulfil secondment roles ranging from executive, to technical, to inspection services. For example:
- Funding submission support
- Secondment in Local Government positions
- RPEQ Certification of civil designs and civil works
- DRFA flood program management
- Inspection services for flood damage assessment.
Plan
Our skilled design team helps plan infrastructure projects from conception through to completion; or, at a higher level, we help clients develop asset management plans and policy solutions. For example:
- Water supply planning, network design, demand assessment and demand management
- Traffic impact assessment
- Detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure
- Stormwater management plans
- Land development—considering engineering constraints up front
- Addressing site constraints during design and construction (reactive soils, protected vegetation, flooding and drainage issues, sensitive existing services).
We have an extensive portfolio of civil design projects including rural and urban roads, car parks, floodways, large culverts, streetscape works, landfill sites, and water and sewerage works.
Deliver
We provide contract management, engineering supervision, and project management for civil infrastructure projects. Experience includes:
- Project management and works supervision for flood restoration works, rehabilitation works, major developments, and transport projects for State and Local governments as well as the private sector
- Capital works infrastructure project delivery
- Project management and contract supervision of Council aquatic facilities
- Project management and supervision of multi-staged residential developments ranging up to 1200 lots
- Contract administration for residential and industrial subdivisions and Local Government community facilities.
