The Yarranlea Solar Farm is a new facility being built west of Toowoomba. When completed, it will connect to existing Ergon Energy Infrastructure and have the capacity to power up to 32,000 homes. Sheppard Earthmoving were contracted to deliver the earthworks and civil works for this project. Due to the stringent requirements of the Principal’s quality system, Sheppard requested the help of GenEng Solutions to produce ITPs to guide the delivery of their work against these required standards and the specifications of the contract.
As the project progressed, GenEng also provided RPEQ Certification of the civil engineering aspects of Sheppard Earthmoving’s work including footing construction and stormwater drainage. We were also asked to complete a small stormwater drainage design for one of the Ergon yards.
