Graduating in 1988, Ged has 30 years of experience in State and Local Government and consulting firms. In addition to offering specialised services himself, Ged co-ordinates client work for the company ensuring the advanced skills of the GenEng Solutions team are best utilised to fill roles of Owner’s Representative and Project Managers for major undertakings, while also providing other traditional engineering consultancy services.
Ged has extensive experience in all facets of Civil Engineering work including roadworks, stormwater drainage, sewerage, water supply, hydrology and hydraulic analysis.
Graduating in 1999, Eric has 19 years of experience in State and Local Government and consulting firms. Eric is currently providing Project Management services for the Department of Transport and Main Roads for Warrego Highway upgrade works, and has previously undertaken construction management for Local Government flood restoration projects, and project management for highway reconstruction.
Eric specialises in project planning and management of major civil projects, including bridges, water supply, sewerage, recycled water, roadworks, utility services and stormwater drainage. Eric also has experience in budgeting and financial control, contract administration and site supervision.
Graduating in 2004, Ben has 14 years of experience in State and Local Government and consulting firms. Ben has experience in project delivery by both contract and day labour delivery, including the $18M “Strengthening Grantham Project” to relocate residents affected by the 2011 floods. Ben is currently Superintendent for the Avenues of Highfields 10 stage residential subdivision and provides Program Management for Southern Downs and Lockyer Valley Regional Councils restoration works following the 2017 flood event.
Ben specialises in estimating and project planning and management of major civil projects, including water supply, sewerage, recycled water, roadworks, utility services and stormwater drainage.
Graduating in 2003, Nadia has 13 years of experience in roles in the Department of Main Roads, Local Government and in the private sector in major civil engineering consultancies.
While engaged in these roles, Nadia has developed a high level of competency in the development of flood and water quality models using contemporary software. Nadia is also proficient in the development of Traffic Impact Assessment and has extensive experience in the design and construction of the road and highway projects.
Graduating in 2004, Cameron has 14 years of experience in Local Government and has assisted several Local Government clients in the roles of both Project Engineer, delivering large scale civil infrastructure projects, and Development Engineer. Cameron is currently managing the delivery of RMPC works and significant reseal and overlay contracts on behalf of the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Cameron specialises in strategic infrastructure planning and operation of civil infrastructure, including water supply, sewerage, roads and stormwater drainage and has experience in GIS applications and asset management and quality assurance systems.
Graduating in 2013 after studying while employed in a local government engineering role, Leonard has 13 years experience in civil engineering in both local government and as a consultant. Leonard manages the GenEng design office, currently delivering both preliminary and detailed designs for a range of projects, including The Avenues of Highfields incorporating 530 resident lots over 10 stages, including 1D and 2D stormwater modelling.
Leonard has a broad range of experience in construction management and engineering processes, having progressed in roles from GIS, survey and design through to construction. This progression has given Leonard a unique skill set in applying principals of both design and construction at each stage of a project life cycle to achieve superior project outcomes.
Graduating in 2013 after studying while employed in a local government finance role, Robyn has 25 years business experience gained both through work in local government and in the private sector in major engineering consultancies. In addition to being the GenEng Business Manager, Robyn is delivering business services to local government in addition to cost control and claim management for flood restoration works for Southern Downs Regional Council.
Robyn specialises in accounting, budgeting, payroll and human resources. Robyn also has experience in legislative requirements, financial data returns and the preparation of statistical information.
Graduating in 1979, John has 39 years of experience in Central and Local Government organisations and consulting firms, in both the engineering and information technology sectors. He is currently part of the team at Scenic Rim Regional Council delivering flood restoration works following ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie, and provides specialist Asset Management services to a number of local government clients.
John specialises in project management and the establishment and support of asset management for all local authority infrastructure classes. He has many years of experience in the delivery of major civil projects, including roadworks, utility services and stormwater drainage. John has specific experience in the implementation of corporate IT systems.
Graduating in 2008, Pippa has 8 years experience in civil engineering in both local government and as a consultant. Pippa’s current projects include the design of a relocatable home park and 18km long irrigation pipeline.
Pippa specialises in strategic planning and network modelling of water infrastructure, in both urban and rural environments. She has a keen interest in stakeholder engagement and community consultation, as well as asset management supporting our experienced team of asset professionals.
David joined the GenEng team in 2017 while completing his studies and graduated in 2018. David provides assistance to the GenEng design function and in the delivery of consultancy services.
In particular, David is developing skills in drafting of civil infrastructure at both concept and detailed design stages, and mapping using a number of different GIS platforms.
Graduating in 1971, Mal has over 45 years of experience in local government and the private sector. Mal’s expertise lies in the design and maintenance of road and drainage assets and he has been involved in both the local government and declared road networks.
Mal’s roles have allowed him to develop extensive experience in project management of design processes and the management of maintenance programs. He also has many years of experience in the supervision of civil engineering construction projects.
Leisa provides high level administrative support to the GenEng team ensuring smooth and efficient office operations and assisting with on time delivery of client projects.
